RPG Wraparound Substance Abuse Program

The West Virginia Regional Partnership will improve the well-being, safety, and permanency of children and their families involved with the child welfare system due to parental substance use.

The program provides the entire family with wraparound intensive care coordination and related services and supports. The program will also improve confidential information sharing across the continuum of care, improve permanency services and increase family therapy availability.

The West Virginia Regional Partnership includes five partner organizations who have joined together to implement a wraparound approach that uses intensive case-management techniques to ensure each family member and the family as a whole receive the unique services and supports needed to overcome trauma, recover from substance use disorder (SUD), and ensure safety, well-being and permanency. In addition to providing services through Wraparound, the West Virginia Regional Partnership will work on system improvements and capacity building needed to better serve families affected by SUD.
